On September 17, 2016, a man mowing a pasture off Interstate 45 between Houston and Dallas, Texas discovered the skeletal remains of a young girl inside a black suitcase.

The little girl had a medical condition called micrognathia in which her jaw was smaller than normal. This affected her ability to eat on her own, and she would have required medical care during her life.
