Jane Doe - Town of Ephratah, New York - 12-17-2015

On December 17, 2015 skeletal remains were recovered from a shallow grave in the Town of Ephratah, Western Fulton County, NY. The remains were discovered by an excavation crew working in a small, remote gravel quarry.

  • Race / Ethnicity: Black / African American

  • Estimated Age Range: 18-30 (most likely between late teen and mid twenties)
  • Height: 5' 3" (63 inches, 1.60 m), Estimated

  • Weight: 120 lbs (54 Kg), Estimated

  • Built: Slender
  • Head Hair Description: Was wearing a dark colored wig with several dreadlocks attached

  • Distinctive Physical Features: A large gap between front teeth
  • Estimated Year of Death: 2005-2013
  • Interval between death and found: Years

Several hoop bracelets were found on the remains. One of which was an Avon "Libra" horoscope bracelet. 

Other:

In the vicinity of the remains a small bag of decayed clothing was found, but couldn't be tied to the body forensically.
